Who owns this site, and how its links work

This site is published by the team that owns four businesses. We think readers should know that before they click anything, so here it is in plain terms.

The four businesses

• PlumbingSupplyAndMore.com, a supply house that sells plumbing and HVAC parts.
• SoftPro Water Systems, a store that sells water treatment equipment.
• Quality Water Treatment, another water treatment store.
• Central Plumbing & HVAC, a plumbing and heating service company that works in Bucks and Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It does not work in Florida, so when a page mentions it, it is only as an example of how a licensed company describes its plumbing work.

How links to them are handled

Some pages link to one of these businesses, usually where a reader might want to see what a part or a piece of equipment looks like. Each of those links has a note right beside it saying our owners run that business. The links are ordinary links, and the pages never call any product or store the best choice or quote prices.

A link is never a replacement for the steps a page describes. Where a page talks about water treatment, it says what a water test should show first, because no piece of equipment is the answer to every house.

What is not here

The site carries no advertising. No manufacturer, contractor, utility or other company pays for a mention, a link or a placement. The only businesses with any connection to this site are the four listed above, and they are named every time they are linked.

The information on each page comes from public agency, utility, university and maker sources linked on that page, as described on our how this site works page. The site is not a plumbing company and has no phone line, email or contact form.
